In seeking to help parents equip their children for life as the next generation of the church, we have a number of specific aims. We aim to help develop young adults who:
* Are grounded in sound Biblical foundations.
* Have a personal faith in Christ and a witness and testimony of the working of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
* Possess an ability and desire to take their place as effective members within the broader life of the church and the community.
To achieve our aims we have programs that cater for all age groups, from birth to those in their final year at school. These programs comprise;
Busy Bees - operates year round with the exception of Christmas Eve.
0-Walking - An area is set aside downstairs in the Busy Bees area for mums and dads to feed and change their babies. All young babies and those reluctant to separate from mum and dad are welcome in our services.
Walking - 5 Years - These children meet downstairs in Busy Bees lso and are supervised by leaders of the church. They are treated to a structured program. Parents who feel they need to stay with their little ones are free to do so. We ask all parents to be rostered on as helpers once a month.
Kidzone - operates during school terms, with the children remaining in our services during school holidays. These young people meet in the school library and are accompanied to and from the library by the Kidzone Leaders.The program is structured into 2 groups to suit the developmental,
social and faith needs of all the children.
Kidzone 1 is tailored to meet the needs of those in the early years of school (Kinder to year 2).
Kidzone 2 comprises children in the late infants to junior high age bracket (Year 3 to Year 6). In each of our classes, children will have the opportunity to pray, to read their Bibles, to learn about God and to discover practical ways to apply Biblical principles to their lives.
